If you are changing the extractor on an older Remington shotgun you may as well install a new extractor spring. It is easy to do as shown in my How to Video. If you are simply upgrading a new gun your spring is fine as they last many years. Check your extractor plunger also and ensure it is not rusted to bad, if so then I have those listed for sale also and might as well replace it at the same time you replace the spring. Same spring fits, 12, 16,20 and 28 gauge Remington Shotguns.
The .410 has a different spring so use the drop down box to select that one
