Product Description
Of the Surplus NATO ammunition out there, the German ammo is among best. This is 7.62x51 147 FMJ. There are two dates of production, March 1984 and May 1979. This ammo is just as deadly as the day it was boxed.
Manufactured to NATO specifications by DAG, this 7.62x51mm (308 Winchester) ammunition reflects the superb quality of German manufacturing. The 147 grain Full Metal Jacketed Boat Tail Bullet has a cupronickel (copper/nickel) jacket to encapsulate the core. A non-reloadable brass case features a non-corrosive berdan primer.
I have shot it in my rifles and no difference than any of the brand name hunting ammo I have shot. Works very good for sighting in a scope and of course target practice. It is also a great defense round, and the boat tail projectile is very accurate.
