High Capacity Magazines Restrictions

I hate that some states have violated your Second Amendment Rights with magazine restrictions but if that is the law in your state I have to follow it.  However, unlike some dealers that send you a gun with no magazines and do not even give you credit for the ones they keep, I send you the gun with the magazines allowed by your state.  If you buy a gun that comes with 15rd magazines but live in a 10 round state, I send your gun with 10rd magazines.  This way you can buy a gun that has a higher capacity as it is the magazine capacity that some states limit.  Not the gun.  Then if you move to state with higher capacity you don't have to get a different gun, just get higher cap mags.

  No restrictions

Alaska:

Arizona:

Arkansas:

California:

  Magazines with capacity over 10 may not be imported/brought into the state

Colorado:

  Citizens may not acquire a magazine that holds more than 15 rounds. There is nothing illegal about possession or use of any magazine of any size by residents or non-residents.

Connecticut:

  Magazines with capacity over 10 may not be brought into Connecticut except by a FFL. Existing magazines with capacity greater than 10 rounds are legal if registered with the state police before Jan 1st 2014.

Delaware:

  No restrictions

District of Columbia:

  Magazines limited to 10 rounds. Also note: A person issued a concealed carry license by the Chief, while carrying the pistol, shall not
carry more ammunition than is required to fully load the pistol twice, and in no event shall
that amount be greater than twenty (20) rounds of ammunition.

Florida:

  No restrictions

Georgia:

  No restrictions

Hawaii:

  Handgun magazines with capacity greater than 10 rounds are not lawful

Idaho:

  No restrictions

Illinois:

  Unlawful for any person within the state to knowingly manufacture, deliver, sell, purchase or cause to be manufactured, delivered, sold, or purchased any magazine with a capacity of more than 10 rounds for long guns and more than 15 rounds for handguns. Does not apply to possession of magazines lawfully possessed before the new law went into effect so long as they are only possessed on private property with permission of the property owner, on the premise of a licensed firearms dealer/gunsmith, at a firing range or shooting competition venue, or while traveling to or from these locations provided it is stored unloaded and enclosed in a container.

Vermont:

  A person shall not manufacture, possess, transfer, offer for sale purchase, or receive, or import into this
State a large capacity ammunition feeding device. This includes a magazine, belt, drum,
feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept: more than 10 rounds of ammunition for a long gun; or more than 15 rounds of ammunition for a hand gun. Some exceptions apply.

Virginia:

  No restrictions

Washington:

  Magazines with the capacity of MORE than 10 rounds are illegal to buy, sell, import, manufacture, or distribute after July 1st, 2022.

West Virginia:
