Fits Remington Shotguns 12ga, 16ga and 20ga Models 870, 11-87 and 1100. It will work on about any tube fed shotgun. This item reduces the capacity of your magazine tube by two rounds and is mandatory for Water Fowl Hunting and may be mandatory for other hunting in some states. Simply remove your magazine cap and place this down the center of your magazine spring. Put your cap back on and your done.
I also use one of these as a driving punch in many applications when working on guns. I use it to tap in parts or make adjustments as it is sturdy and will not damage parts or the gun finish. You don't know how many uses it has until your working on something and look down and see it and say "Darn, that will work".
Also listed here is the one specificly for the Remington 20 gauge - 28 gauge Symmetrical Yellow magazine Plug. Considered a two shot plug as when placed in your magazine tube you can only load two shots instead of four. Mandatory for Water Fowl Hunting and may be required for other types of Hunting in some states. Is part #F403259 on the Remington parts list and retails for $4.37.
