Note: As of 6-15-24 I have one left that has the detents at the end of the magazine tube like for the 870 Express or for use with barrels that do not have a detend plunger on the barrel ring to retain the magazine cap. You must be 21 years old or older to purchase this item under Federal Law. I know it is for a shotgun and an 18 year old could buy a complete shotgun, however receivers are treated differently under the NFA as they can be uses to build a pistol. So it can not be transfered to you unless you are 21 or older.
Even if you have a 12ga 870 you should consider one of these as I am going to give you a good reason to. The New owners solved the issue with broken ejectors. I used to go the factory in Illion for week every third year to recertify and I complained every time about the tip of the ejector breaking off and causing a gun smith repair and refinishing. The new owners fixed this issue and redsigned the ejector so now the tip is super beefed up and the issue will fad into the past. Replace your 870 receiver with one of these and you will not end up like thousands of guys who can not use their 870's because of broken ejector tips and no parts to repair it.
Factory new Remington 870 12ga receiver, Factory Drilled and Tapped for optics. Includes Shell latches and ejector which are factory installed. Finish is Black Oxide. These sold Retail for $ 278.99 on the 2020 Remington Parts list (last parts list available ) but those back then were not drilled and tapped like these. I can do the price I have them listed for because they are new in the box stipped down and parted out. I do not want to be left with all these receivers to clog up my gun books.
