Why no Mossberg products

Once the few items from Mossberg are gone, I will not purchase anything else from them.   It started with the barrels for the 870 I purchased to sell on my website.   They were in a clam shell and everywhere the barrel rubbed the plastic the finish came off and you could see bright shinny rubs.  I described the issue on my listing and lowered the price and sold them as is because it was 2020 and I could not get through to Mossberg.  Well today ended anything I will ever have to do with this sorry company.   

Today I went to fill an order of a Mossberg short action magazine for the Patriot Rifle.   I looked and saw it was just an empty cheap plastic box with no internals.  No follower and no spring.   I went out to my Wearhouse and brought in all the Mossberg magazine I had inside and checked them.   I found four more of the Short Action with no follower or spring, just empty plastic box.  

I called Mossberg and the rep was treating this like a retail sale and told me I had to contact Sports South the Distributor.   I insisted that there was no reason to return the items to them as it was Mossberg quality control that let these be packaged and leave as factory as empty box and I requested a Return Goods Authorization and shipping label to send them to Mossberg.   The Rep insisted I take pictures of each one and use the retail form on their web site to send the pictures.  I know this is unnecessary as they know about the issue and are just dogging me around.  What chance is it that these are the five that left the factory that way and all five ended up at Sprots South and all five shipped in my order? Of course not.

I am finished with this low-quality company and will no longer sell their products.  If you have ever seen one of these cheap made magazines, I know you are absolutely shocked at the ridiculous price they sell them for and will most likely agree with me about this company,
