Factory New 12ga 870 Trigger Plate Assembly. Polymer body in a black matte finish. The Polymer Trigger Plate is superior to the cast alumimum. It is stronger and more durable. There are two plungers that move inside an 870 Trigger plate assembly. In the metal ones you have these metal plungers moving in metal channels, thus metal on metal so more oil is needed. More oil means more gunk build up. In the Polymer plate these plungers move in polymer channels thus less oil is needed and the polymer assures smoother movement of the plungers. Also when the polymer gets a scratch you don't see it as it is black all the way through. The cast metal ones of the Police and Wingmaster are painted and scratches show up nice and silver looking. Fits all 12ga 870 no matter the model or year made.
